ORDERING AND PAYMENT

Shipping

Marmalade ships both nationally and internationally with Canada Post or DHL International. All orders will be shipped out within 5 business days of ordering. For custom dresses - please allow 14 business days. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail informing you that the order has shipped. In stock items will generally be received within 7 business days of shipment.  Rush shipping is available and we will make every attempt to provide orders by dates indicated. Often this may require a custom order, should item not be in stock and therefore it is requested that order be placed directly through e-mail at info@marmalade-shop.com.

Ordering

When you have decided upon an item, click on our shopping cart icon and continue shopping until you are ready to complete your purchase. Then, click on ‘Proceed to Checkout’ to confirm your item(s). After you have made any changes and updated the quantities as desired, continue on to your on-line payment section to pay for your items.

Tax

If you live in, or ship your order to, a province where marmalade maintains a physical presence, we are required to charge you provincial sales tax on your purchase. We collect GST for deliveries to all Canadian provinces. The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined provincial sales tax and the GST rate if you live in Ontario.

How will I know my Order was accepted?

After you click ‘Submit Order’ an e-mail confirmation including an order number will be sent to the e-mail address entered when the order was placed. You can expect to receive your package in approximately seven business days from the date the package shipped, if item is in stock, at time of purchase. We strive to continuously update item availability through our online store.

Adding and removing items once order has been submitted?

Once you have submitted your order, processing begins shortly thereafter. During this time we may be able to add or remove items from your order. Once an order is being packed at our Distribution Center we are no longer able to modify your order. Please e-mail us at info@marmalade-shop.com as soon as possible to either add or remove an item from your order.

Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

We are able to cancel an order immediately following submission and during the processing timeframe. Once an order has been packed or shipped, we are no longer able to cancel it.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

How will my order be shipped and how will I be charged?

Most orders will ship out within 5 business days of ordering (we do not ship Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays), however custom orders will take longer to process. Your order will be shipped via Canada Post or DHL International unless you indicate an alternative preference. Once the order is shipped, it will generally be received within 7 business days. Marmalade cannot be held responsible for delays at customs of any particular destination.
We happily ship orders worldwide.
All shipping rates are listed at the time of purchase.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

What is marmalade-shop.com's Return Policy?

Marmalade practices ethical manufacturing and our clothing is manufactured in Toronto Canada. Wherever possible, marmalade uses environmentally sound fabrics. We are confident you will truly enjoy your purchase, however, marmalade will gladly accept unworn, unwashed or defective merchandise for refund (excluding shipping) or exchange within 7 business days of receipt with valid concern of purchase. Simply pack the merchandise in a secure carton or reuse the original packaging and send it to the address below. For custom orders, marmalade can only offer exchanges as each individual custom order is specifically tailored to the sizing we receive before manufacturing.
Most returns are processed within ten days of receipt in our warehouse. We will send you an email confirming that your return or exchange has been processed.
Please be sure that you return the merchandise with a tractable method, and your package is insured and prepaid. Sorry, we will not accept COD returns.

Marmalade encourages interest from wholesalers and has secured repeat custom from boutiques and high street stores worldwide.  Please contact jake@marmalade-shop.com to request seasonal catalogues and to discuss the marmalade brand being carried by your store.

SPONSORSHIP

Marmalade encourages cross-promotion and sponsorship when possible. We are always excited to support club nights - scooter runs - premiers or openings etc. We are also available for wardrobe and film costume. Proposal considerations should be sent directly to jake@marmalade-shop.com. Unfortunately, as much as we encourage independent reviews, we cannot provide free clothing to all individual reviewers considering the saturation of current blog culture. We will of course keep an open mind to presented opportunities.
